The city of Casillas had gotten it’s Italian name from a famous soccer player who had ruled over the new city after the infamous Earthquake of ’15 had shattered much of the original city. With his strong sense of leadership, he led the people to rebuild, creating a much more eco-friendly, futuristic city than had ever been seen before in the United States. Most impressive in this new city was the lights. From space and beyond, Casillas shown much brighter than Las Vegas ever had. Solar power electricity in every color of the rainbow orbited the bright hues, even hitting nearby cities. For example one neighboring city always had a blue tinge to it at night where another had a permanent orange glow.
Casillas itself was split into different districts based on what color shown the brightest. And to keep it simple, the 6 districts were called the color it represented. ROYGBIV had never had never been so useful (although Indigo and Violet were used for one color: the Purple district). And yet the city itself was fairly small, so that the colors mixed together depending on what street you were on. A small city did not mean a small population however. People from all over the world came to see what all the hub-bub of the lights were about. As disasterous as the earthquake was, Casillas now rivaled New York and L.A. as the place where everyone wanted to be. Especially, the artists, dancers, performers…basically the GAYS. I mean let’s face it, they adopted the Rainbow flag years befor Casillas was ever even created. Frederico Cassillas himself was openly gay and since he pretty much created the city with the help of many surviving donors, he made a decree that the city would be a place where ANYONE could live, worship, and marry. Many of the U.S. laws were not taken into consideration when Casillas was built, based on the fact that a new world was meant to be a better world. One built from love and not hate. Marijuana prohibition ended and was freely smoked out in the open; prostitution was legal; and homosexuality was no longer a social taboo. Of course there were naysayers and right-wing conservative religious groups who were also welcome to live in Casillas. But for the first time in U.S. history, these groups were a minority. Many of whom had either died in the earthquake or rejected God after they felt He had destroyed their world and didn’t rescue them to salvation.
Yes, Casillas was a city of opportunity; a city of freedom; and a city of renewal. However, when many people of different ethnic groups, social backgrounds, and separate beliefs come together, all is not perfect. And Casillas was far from perfect. Casillas was a city inhabited with Sin. Deep, dark, secrets lay in the minds of the people who lived there. No different than the ones that lay in your mind right now…but this is the story of a mystery doused in sin. How six individuals from the six different districts came together on one night, found by police standing in a circle… covered in blood. Who’s blood? Well, that’s where the mystery starts. None were innocent and yet some were more guilty than others. What events happened to lead up to this tragic scene of blood and death. And who were these men? I call them THE SINNERS.
Hope you all liked it! Can you tell which one is you?
